how am I supposed to overcome being scared, everytime I go to a party or hear loud music I think of it, and other things 4emind me of it and it feels like I. reliving it. and I hate avoiding things bc of it. does anyone have any solutions for this? or will thing be like this my whol life?

Therapy helped a good bit for me. It helped teach me different techniques for how to deal with situations like this. Grounding techniques, mental exercises, etc.

For me its been finding someone i can trust to help me slowly expose myself to those triggers and help me calm down when it gets too overwhelming and help me be there and experience that trigger but also put a good memory to it to replace the bad one and have someone else there to keep my mind busy so that i can work my way up to enjoying it again or tolerating it or whatever your personal goal is
I’m not sure if there’s any specific advice I can offer, but I will tell you it does get better. I was the same way and tbh I think it was a combination of therapy and time that helped me cope better
