someone I wish would leave me alone sent me a friend request...he hated me and scares me. his friend I dated and he wouldn't leave me lone after he broke up with me. idk what they wanted but I'm paranoid beyond reason since the guy I'm scared of still lives in the area. Idk what he wanted I blocked but he has other accounts I can't remember and he changes the name on them. I fear going outside...idk I'm in a constant panic and my mind won't shut up with thoughts I'm gonna be harmed what ifs on what he wanted and just fear all around. I just want to be left alone. I feel tormented like no matter how much I block I will never get peace. they will always be there.

Especially if you have evidence, go to court and file for a protective order. Women shelters in the area usually help you fill those out if you want. Restraining order is civil but a protective order is criminal. I have one against a guy who sexually assaulted me, I'm in the states. I only felt safe during my trip to Norway. It's just a piece of paper but it means they can't own a gun and if they're pulled over for speeding they can be arrested if they have one even if it was obtained legally. It also means if they talk to you they can go to jail. When you call 911 give the address first

I'm not trying to diminish your feelings at all. Simply, I want to ease the distress they're causing, ok? My question is, how do you know what he was thinking? Or what his intentions were? He could have bad intent. But he could also be harmless. Much easier said than done. But even if you take away a little of the power these intrusive thoughts have over you, it will ease the suffering even if it's just slightly. I deal with intrusive thoughts quite literally moment by moment. And I know from experience how absolutely draining, destructive, and defeating they can and will be. Especially when it comes to fearing males. I'm a male myself. A big guy at that. And the intrusive thoughts can stop me in my tracks at times. But I challenge myself to stay vigilant, of course, but to also remind myself I can't read minds. I can not predict the future. And I do not know anyone's intent. Please be gentle on yourself ok? You deserve peace

@JayFloyd it's been a repeated behavior and a history of this. Not just me stating that but someone who know him from childhood. I honestly wish it was just my intrusive thoughts.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this 💔 I went through something similar with my ex. Have you considered talking to the police about it? They may not do much, but it might make you feel a little more safe if they know. The only other advice I can give is to let anyone you know, know about the situation. Stalking in any capacity is really scary and I really feel for you, from my experience they may be trying to intimidate you. If he has been abusive, physically, mentally etc, I would suggest telling a counsellor or the gp if you have one, and making sure people know where you are when you go out and send your location if it makes you feel safer. Maybe even tell the police that you want someone to be aware of your address in case they show up (hopefully the won’t). It definitely sounds like harassment to me, I really hope you’re ok!!

@Arianwen I agree it sounds like harassment. I'm just I don't go out alone and I have someone always informed where I am. I'll go to police if it happens again.
