I only take meds when I have a major project that needs to be done within a specific deadline. Sometimes that’s for work and sometimes it’s for home. I probably only take meds 5-6 times a month, if that. The rest of the time I make a daily list of things I’d like to get done with a goal of doing about half of them. This gives me some grace to pick & choose what I do, which my brain needs and my body as well. I don’t stress about getting them all done and celebrate if I get half done.

When I can't be on meds I get by heart rate up to help me focus afterwords. It seems to help others with it too. Caffeine also helps with focus, just not too much. Body doubling is life saving. Reward yourself, literally train yourself line a dog. It helps I swear- you'll do the chores if there's dopamine in the routine!

Yes I am unmedicated. I'm currently not on any prescriptions for ADD or depression. ... Here is a great article I use quite a few of these supplements. https://feedabrain.com/rehabilitation-through-nutrition/

I'm functional! 😂 What helps me is setting alarms, writing things down, and giving myself plenty of time to complete tasks. So I have a planner that I write my to-do list on, and I set alarms besides that (because you never know). I also put things into my phone's calendar. I need all the reminders I can get. For something like studying, I'll sometimes do it a little bit at a time throughout the day as opposed to sitting down for two hours straight. Also taking breaks during tasks is crucial. I even take breaks when I'm watching movies lol.

I am unmedicated for and have it Something that helps me function is fidget toy while I’m trying to work or just having someone to talk to you and Brandon to while getting on with work really helps because getting to run to someone gives us something to distract ourselves with as well as focus on certain things

@Axel17 ooo yea I forgot about having someone talk to you or listen to you. Years ago the guy I was with would call and talk to me about the most random stuff while I would write. I'd go from totally useless with my brain not focusing at all to kind of calmer and able to focus on what he was saying and the article I was trying to write.
