I am on vacation with my partner and I feel like I am ruining it. I keep hitting myself Infront of them and getting really depressed that it makes everything harder. they reassure me that it's ok and they love me and are happy to be here with me but I still feel like I am making them enjoy themselves less. I'm so depressed and I can't function but I should be having a great time. what do I do?

Remember that vacations are hard for people with anxiety and depression because the "normal" problems of everyday life aren't present. Without the huge distraction of responsibilities we are left to face the chemicals and the feelings. Remember the feelings will pass and to do things for your partner if you can't motivate yourself to do them for you :)

That's crazy because I feel like sometimes... I can be at home, and still feel like I'm destroying things.

the first thing I try to do in these cases is focus on not being angry with myself for these symptoms. if I don't, I end up in a cycle or bad attitudes/symptoms (depression, anger, etc), and then I beat myself up about it and the attitudes/symptoms get worse, and then I beat myself up about it again. just try to focus on giving yourself grace and taking the time and space you need to get better. I know it can be hard to do this, but any little step you can take towards it will help!

Have you tried a gratitude journal. Any time you're thoughts head south think of/write down one or more things you're thankful, grateful for. Pick one or two you can use on repeat. Anytime you feel like hitting yourself pay attention to your thoughts of why you feel that way and write it down in stead. If you want to change something it needs to be replaced with something else.
