Wellbutrin SR helped me with depression tremendously at first, after a period of being off all medications, but then sort of stopped working. If I stop taking it and then start again, it seems to help somewhat but not like before. I do feel like it helped somewhat with my ADD but not like Ritalin or adderall. I think my brain doesn’t produce enough dopamine for a DRI to really help the way a drug that actually produces more dopamine does.

I had a very bad reaction to it. I’m not sure if that has to do with my bipolar disorder or adhd or something like that, but it made me very sad all the time, and put me in severe panic attacks. I’ve known several people that have done really well on it though! I would say just be very cautious of how you respond to it and contact your doctor immediately if something feels off! You know your body best.

They also sell Wellbutrin as a smoking cessation drug, i don't know that it will make you want to smoke less, i think it just helps people who want to stop to not crave between cigarettes. I took it for ADHD and depression, it works for some bust didn't for me, but everyone is different. It was just another drug my doctor had to try before openly giving me Ritalin. But some people i know have great results. It's a Norepinephrine-Dopamine Reuptake Inhibitor, so when you take depression meds like a Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor, it can also help the other 2 usual culprits in depression, norepinephrine and dopamine. And sometimes that makes you peppy. For me, stopping dopamine reuptake wasn't enough, so i ended up on Ritalin, which just makes more dopamine to be released. But it's a PAIN IN THE ASS because that makes it a controlled substance, and i have to get a paper prescription and only can have it the day i run out every month which is a HUGE negative if it's for a drug that helps you not forget your responsibilities... So if Wellbutrin helps you, you're good!
I have really bad ADHD and Strattera 100mg was a game changer for me. It lasts for 24 hours and there's no highs or lows and it doesn't cause me any side effects. Whenever I don't take it everybody can tell because I'm all over the place..
Wellbutrin really helps my depression, but it didn't make me not want to smoke weed
Wellbutrin did nothing for my adhd. But helped the depression!
Wellbutrin didn’t work for me, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work for you! I was told by my doctor not to do weed period, especially for the first month you’re on it. Weed can mess with how effective it is and you won’t see the results as well as you would if you were clean!
It helps with my ADD but it isn’t advised to smoke weed with it. In fact, I was told no smoking period. I vape cbd and there doesn’t seem to be anything happening out of the ordinary though I would ask your doctor about actual weed
