Has anyone had a tubal ligation/sterilization and had the doctor find endometriosis that way via laparoscopy during surgery? I swear ever since that surgery my hormones are whack I'm always tired I get can't comfortable on my sides where the scars are and I have really bad months where I can't stand my body. My last doctor wanted to get me on lupron shot every month but it's gonna make me head towards menopause I'm already struggling with monthly roid rage and imbalances should I give it a try? also anyone else feel like this?

@ash007 …you are forever to be wary: more surgeries are exactly what is advised against because scar tissue can impact endo. That’s why ideally after an initial surgery/dx, it can be managed medically

yean after since my tubal sterilization I swear it has spread to the scar tissue and other areas but without having another laparoscopy I don't know. I swear the more surgeries I may have the more it has a chance to spread and of course tenderness in the incision site.

Ask about orilissa instead. People have varied reactions to it (of course) but it’s been an absolute miracle for me 😌

@EP806 orilissa is a pill form of lupron and just as bad. No specialist recommends it.

@100Percent_K that’s actually not true, my surgeon is a specialist and also got a second opinion from one of the MDs on all the cutting edge research at Yale & it’s the best thing out there. It doesn’t put you into full menopause. It’s also working really well for me, including how they are mitigating the side effects. This was also a really rude response honestly, maybe be a little more considerate when someone says something is working well for them!! & do your research.

@100Percent_K I'm just tired of being in a constant state of irritation/pain I wish they had a cure. Right now when it hurts I just take ibuprofen but it doesn't help the other issues. I'm thinking of getting back on Wellbutrin for tiredness wise it helped with anxiety as well.

Lupron is one of the worst medications available on the market, it is black boxed for a very good reason. I would honestly ask to be referred to an excision specialist. Yes their primary treatment is surgical, however they also do medical management, this is just the most uniform way we identify true endometriosis specialists at the moment
