Extreme Pain After Kidney Stone Stent Placement

it is very common to have stent pain . i had 4 stent over the years put in. for male patient doctor prescribe flomax to help relax the bladder, kidney when stent is in . for me the first 5 days were painful with stent in . then it was just annoying uncomfortable for the duration .

Sadly yes I hated mine and it was an extreme amount of pain and I've given birth naturally twice both 8lbers. They say sometimes your body rejects it and that's why we get the pain.

I’m really really sorry that you are going through this. Yes. It is ridiculously painful. It doesn’t hurt to put in a call to your doctor though, just to make sure you’re ok or if there is anything they recommend to help.

Yes it’s painful as hell! I had one and got infection while it was in. Pulled it early. Had to go on antibiotics. My urologist was a jerk. Changed doctors.

After I had my surgery they put a stint in. It was so painful to urinate I had to burry my head into my shoulder. This lasted for two weeks until they took out the stint. Then it got better from there.

So sorry, I have had several over the years. I usually only had pain the first time I urinated after it was put in and taken out. Feel better soon.
