Safe foods and maybe otc meds can help gear you up for a whole meal. I use pretzels (thin sticks or peanut butter filled for protein) and sometimes take fdgard before eating to keep stuff down

Saltine crackers are my go-to along with toast like others have said. I tend to stick to beige colored foods when the nausea is bad. My favorite thing lately is rice pudding but sometimes even that is difficult because of the sugar.

Safe foods are the best!! When I feel like this I try to go for something easily digestible because the thought of chewing sounds AWFUL. So something like smoothie, crackers, apple sauce, pudding what have you even things like Gatorade or pedialyte just to get something in my system. Then once my stomach stop feels like it’s “eating itself” I can eat something more substantial

I try and find “safe” foods since I have sensory issues on top of chronic nausea. Toast is my go to and I’ll add peanut butter if I’m able to. Sometimes smoothies/drinks are also easier for me to consume and keep down. Certain sodas help my nausea enough that I can eat sometimes. Ginger ale never worked for me but ik it works for a lot of people. I’m strictly able to drink pepsi and sprite when it comes to nausea. Sometimes I’ll start with water and if that goes ok I’ll try another drink or food depending on how I’m feeling. If I know I’m not going to be able to eat real food yet I try and eat or drink something minty like tea or altoids. Ultimately you have to risk trying things and hopefully find things that work for you. Cannabis ultimately saves me though. I know that’s not something everyone is into or has access to though

@beingnotseeming I agree with the toast and adding a little butter helps with the salt intake and also chicken broth. Water makes my stomach worse. Applesauce is also safe for me. BRAT diet.

@beingnotseeming yeah cannabis is not a option and I'm a llergic too mint but dr pepper helps my nausea and toast does too but 99% of the time I can't keep it down sadly
