i’m in the process of trying to get a wheelchair. my joint pain and dizziness are affecting my everyday life to the point where i can barely manage my job and the house. honestly i waited way too long. if you’re asking the question, it’s probably time to try one out.

I think this is the best piece of advice! “If you’re asking the question, it’s probably time to try one out”.

I'm in the process of getting a service dog, I feel that I probably should have done so sooner honestly. I've had pots for about 10 years now, I'm to the point I can no longer hold a job because of how severe my bad days are and how often they are (that was one of my reasons). My other reason was that I can no longer go anywhere by myself, unfortunately I can't even go out for a walk anymore without the possibility of fainting

When it came to making the decision (Cane was 7+ years ago and wheelchair 3 years ago) it ultimately came down to how is my mobility affecting me? Is it keeping me from enjoying time out, by myself or with others? Once I knew that the answers were yes, getting mobility aids were such a blessing. You also don't have to use them every moment or everyday ... At least commit to using them when you need it most, when you know it will help you have an easier, more enjoyable, and most importantly healthier day. 💕 Things I stopped doing because of the inability to stand or walk were once again available to enjoy.
