Has anyone else been to doctor after doctor specialist after specialist with really no resolve. feeling like they want to give up trying to figure out why your in constant pain and your body has given up on you?

      I started going to the doctor with chronic pain as a child. I was finally diagnosed at 18, but I think I actually have Ehlers Danlos, I just darent put myself through that again so I haven't really pushed for more investigation. It's absolutely exhausting, but worth pushing on (and using any support around you!) if you feel like treatment could help, or just understanding your own body could bring peace

      Went to 3 doctors before I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. That was in 1998. I've read that many people see more than 3 before getting a diagnosis.

        @LadyPasta1 I should also say 4 Drs were in the early 90s. I gave up after my back injury in '92 because they all blamed it on that. I tried from 2005-2007 (before the move in 2007). I was finally dx in 2009.

        @LadyPasta1 I saw approximately 6 before one took me seriously. Then we moved to another state before she officially diagnosed me. That was in 2007. It took another 3 Drs and 2 years. šŸ˜Ŗ
