I've been starting to exercise more after 5 years of excersice restriction due to ED. it's very helpful for my mental and physical health, but I fear crossing the line between healthy and dangerous. does anyone else have this experience or insights?

id say start small with everyday stuff like walking, jogging etc then start committing to a healthy gym routine where u still feel good during and after and stay hydrated and eat good foods as well obvi

I do something called geocaching, it's a global scavenger hunt where you find these containers called geocaches. You start by downloading the geocaching app or going to geocaching.com/play. It's 100% safe and gets you outside and moving around. There are even little trinkets to trade sometimes, but if you take something, leave something else in its place and make sure to put the container back exactly where you found it for the next person.

And then when we're done caching for the day, we can just head home and rest

Omg I feel like I can talk for this. I've loved working out often since I've been a teen. For many years I over worked my body. I actually hurt the meniscus in both my knees and it's still healing. I truly believe all you need is a 15min high intensity workout or 30 minute low intensity 4-6 days a week. You get the most benefit from the beginning of your workouts anyway. There's no need to do half an hour intense or half an hour intense. I would do that to myself a lot and ended up hurting myself. Just not worth it.
