    The only way I’ve been able to lose weight with PCOS is to exercise and reduce my carb & sugar intake. I wish there was another way 😭

    Have your doctor check your insulin resistance/do a metabolic panel. Insulin resistance is apparently quite common with PCOS and can make it a lot harder for us to lose weight than the average person.

    i’ve noticed for me it’s easier to just stay under a certain amount of calories and just sorta start walking more like a couple extra steps here and there :) they add up ! plus like others said insulin resistance is important to check for and key in helping

    There’s another message on here w same question- dairy free, gluten free, sugar free is step 1. I went gluten free 5 years ago and there is so much more in stores now and cookbooks and ideas for meal. There are a few PCOS people out there on IG who have meal suggestions. If you’re insulin resistant there’s ovasitol or other less expensive of same combo to help regulate sugar and help w cravings and weight loss. I think it’s generally helpful for PCOS.
