I know how that goes, it worked out the best for me to not see the person. Family member no longer comes around thank God. Relationship side is not easy as well. I ended up married to someone that is kinda like my childhood trauma person. Therapist says it happens but talk to your partner about the things that happened and how to avoid ptsd episodes.
