On 6/13/2022 I had a P.O.E.M. surgery (Peroral Endoscope Myotomy) for my Esophageal Achalasia. After the surgery I was on a liquid diet for a week. This is the 2nd day I'm on soft food diet. So far I am not having any problems with swallowing food, like I was before the surgery. Esophageal Achalasia is not something I would not want anyone to have to go through. It sucks having trouble swallowing food and liquids. This condition I have a lot of doctor's have trouble diagnosing. I'm blessed to have a doctor that listened to me and helped me find a specialist to help me. If you ever have trouble swallowing food or liquids. Please don't let the doctor tell you it's in your mind. Keep telling the doctor that you have a problem. This is a serious condition. Yes I know, I'll have to have the procedure done again. This is something I'll have to live with until I die. But I'm happy with everyday I have
