Hi, I am Zoie and I have been struggling with adhd since before I can remember. When diagnosed the doctors told my mom "she has the worst case that we have seen", or something along those lines. I think the worst part is what I have researched to be rejective sensitive dysmorphia and would like to learn ways to better deal with it. I hate the feeling that literally every move, gesture, word, facial expression is always wrong. I want to act normal and not have to explain to people why I act the way I do because it always comes off as attention seeking.

Yeah I understand that. I think it may be a trauma respose but sometimes I smile when I am upset or angry and when I am excited or happy, I can never smile. I can never give the appropriate response to a situation and it sucks being judged for that and other things I cant control.

I wish I could give you a hug zoie and tell you everything is fine. Life just has its ways of messing with the non-attentive like us. Itā€™s apart of life we need to live with. For the ADHD I would try getting medicated if you havenā€™t gotten yet it helps a lot with sudden influxes of energy and attentiveness but Iā€™m no doctor. I relate to the facial expressions thing. I think thatā€™s normal I hate the expressions I make with a passion when things are sad I canā€™t frown to save my life and when things are happy I canā€™t smile either. My face is always a šŸ˜. Itā€™s just kinda natural ig feels right. You should make a face that feels right for you who cares what others think.
