Partner doesn't believe I have autism

I know my comment was harsh but I’m at a point in my life where I’m sick of educating people. It’s not my job. If they care about me they should be willing to do the work and educate themselves. But giving them resources is a great idea

Ask them what they think autism is then school them on what is really is

I would educate them. Have them read the ASD criteria in the DSM-5, along with articles that go more in-depth. If they still didn’t believe me, that would be a dealbreaker. It would negatively affect my health to stay with an unsupportive partner.
