@nsiberian hi I can't walk to far as I'm in constant pain & I need certain foods as I've had a gastric sleeve done 2 years ago & need nutrition & protein on a regular basis x

I've no abdominal wall as it's been damaged so badly from operations plus its like shredded chicken nothing to bind any muscle together although its something I'd look into thank you x

How about poor therapy to strengthen the abdominal walls. I’m starting it soon to see if it will help the pain

Consult a dietician and do not do a starvation diet. I tried a starvation diet and while it worked, I developed an eating disorder and generally horrible relationship with food. I’m seeing a dietician soon to help me get to a healthy weight, at the recommendation of my therapist. There are so many diets out there and different ones are better for different people! You want one that has foods you like but also a caloric deficit (not too extreme though!!) not being able to move definitely makes it harder but not impossible! And even gently movements, like chair yoga, can help a lot!

@Belugabear I'm not trying I just have no appetite. I have an alarm on phone at 7pm if I haven't eaten to eat, I don't get hungry. I've spoke to my gp an he said along as ure not put weight on "I dnt care if u have appetite and starve or have no appetite ".. he didn't care that I had no appetite and can Just about manage a riveta a day b4 I get bloated and feel sick. I had bloods wen this had been going on a month or so n they were clear

@Pain_Warrior89 I understand having no appetite. I’m on a med that does that to me, which combined with the mental part is hard. I’m so sorry your gp said that that’s awful, are you able to seek mental health treatment on your own or does your insurance require a referral? Feel free to message me <3

oh I also forgot to mention but swimming is a good option for a few of my friends with things like fibromyalgia or POTS or hypermobility syndromes etc etc, it's good exercise but it isn't too demanding and good for not putting pressure on any areas of your body and stuff!!

changing how and what you eat can definitely work for some people! aside from food, light exercise like taking walks or some stretches or yoga at home may have some effect too. and drinking a lot of water helps!!

@Pain_Warrior89 that's understandable and i understand it doesn't work for everyone, I'm simply throwing out random suggestions without knowing anyone's detailed health problems! :) I'm not a professional or anything, so it would be worth asking someone with more experience in how to exercise with those limitations, sorry I can't be of any more help!!

I do keto and walk at least 1 mile a day. Some days I feel better than others, so I try to do more walking when I feel better. I did this for one year and lost 38 pounds. The problem is you can't stop doing keto or you will gain it back. I've been slacking and I've gained back 20 pounds in a year. But it will just melt off fast if you can stick w keto diet. Good luck!
