I went to water physical therapy and realized how much more movement I had in water. I have very low motivation so it was difficult to make it to every appointment but when I was done there I started using the pool at the local ymca. It's very relaxing, I personally can swim on good days and on bad days I just do some water walking or don't go. I highly suggest trying out getting in some water and get your body moving a little.

Very slowly but it took me years
I work with my limitations. Mostly the easiest thing for me to work with is walking. I will walk about a mile and then rest for a few days, and when I feel better again i will do it again. Gets you moving and is relatively low impact.
I've heard time and time again that yoga is the best.
I use a gazelle, it's a very gentle workout, on my better energy days I do 30 mins and it really helps with my pain and mental health. On my less good days I do 10 mins and see how I feel and if I can I do another 10, etc. When I can't use it at all I try to get seated stretching in.
I'm using the finch app someone suggested on here. Some days getting out of bed or even sitting upright feels impossible, and it's got gentle stretches and exercises that make me feel a little better. It also lends some mental support in a cute little finch that keeps checking in on you, and celebrating the small things that aren't so small to us, like sitting up in bed, walking out into the sunshine for a minute, drinking water, listening to a song that makes us feel good, or reminiscing on something that brought us joy. I've only used it for like a week but it's really helping motivate me to do little stretches and exercises. They wouldn't seem like much to others but they're a big deal to me. š
@Sagan I love the finch app, it's one of the few apps I have found that really understands that sometimes just standing up for 10 seconds is an achievement worth celebrating.
I used to. Now it's nearly impossible. If you find something that works please share.
I try to do a little yoga laying down or sitting.. but I canāt do much because I get super dizzy, lightheaded and my chest starts to hurt when Iām doing anything really active
I used to. With POTS added on top, I canāt anymore. I have been trying to get into seated or gentle yoga to at least move my body.
@ChronicLV I'm so sorry š I can't imagine how much more stress that puts on you.
