My advice is get a disability lawyer ASAP. I've had to explain what HS is to a lot of doctors. My disability lawyer knew what HS was without an explanation. They are handling everything for me. I'm hopeful

I've been trying to get disability for a few months now. I've been denied once and I'm currently waiting for news for my appeal. I currently have 8 chronic illnesses, and I still haven't had good luck. I would just recommend to keep trying and try now to get discouraged. It takes awhile, but if you need it then it's definitely worth it. I'm from Illinois btw

I've been trying for disability basically since COVID. I've been told by one of the examiners that there is no reason I shouldn't be on disability with all I have going on, but so far have been denied. I just moved from TN to AZ this past January so I'm not sure if being in a different state will make a difference with getting disability or not. Stage 3 sucks and it's frustrating to be told my condition is too advanced for general surgery but the people deciding disability think it's not that bad

I've applied 3 times and been denied 3 times. I'm trying again for my 4th time currently. In Texas. šŸ˜„

@PolyPotato I'm stage 3. I've had 3 surgeries. Both underarms, under my breast, and a strip off my thigh. Now my pubic/groin/thighs are just lit up. I can't hardly walk.
