I have applied for PIP and keep being refused, regardless of how much pain and fatigue I suffer daily which affects me carrying out daily tasks which able bodied people would find easy. I have appealed and it is now having to go to tribunal. it's like they're ignoring everything I've said and their reasons contradict what I have said. it's really getting me down. does anyone have any advice?

@LiLion5tar I understand. I'm the same in that my stress worsens symptoms. Be kind to yourself. Get as much supporting evidence as you can and link in with Citizens Advice ❤️ sorry had a brain fog moment not even clicking that PIP is UK 😂 get you get all the appeal paperwork (which will be everything from the day you very first applied) go through it closely, pull out anything you feel is incorrect and explain why you think it's wrong in a letter statement. That alongside support from CAB, looking at the descriptors break down and any supporting letters should help ❤️

Can you get a supporting letter from your GP and other services or specialists you are working with? Citizens advice website has a good break down of the descriptors which is always handy to look at so you know what points you are entitled to for each section. Not sure if you are from the UK but Citizens Advice Bureau should be able to help with appeals. Hope this helps and good luck x

@franniepeach yes I'm from the UK. Just feel so invalidated by pip. I've had fibro for 15 years and they gave me 0 points on everything even though I clearly explained how much pain and fatigue I suffer especially when carrying out certain of their tasks mentioned. They even put that they don't offer support for certain disabilities and I know for a fact they provide support for fibromyalgia. I'm going through a particularly bad flare up ATM and the fact I'm going to have to go to a tribunal for this is adding to my stress and making my pain and fatigue worse 😣
