@Storm38 I too love art of all kinds, especially pen & Ink. I have issues with shaky hands now due to several meds I'm on and my disabilities, so for a long time I gave up on my passion for art. I finally was able to purchase an iPad and it has been a Godsend and a lifesaver because I can now undo the shaky strokes. It has really helped my self therapy and self confidence.

I want to follow this too because I struggle big time with my depression. I do craft too, but it almost overwhelms me to even craft when I'm in that depression state

Small routine shower , put new comfort clothes on and wash my face

I realized one of the best ways to help with any of my extreme moods is to lose myself in my passions/hobbies. I love art in all forms. I love to create. So I paint, build, draw, read about new things, watch videos on how to do stuff, and experiment with what I know. I always have a project I'm working on or wanting to start. A few years ago I talked to a family member that is a mentor and counselor for kids with mental wiring differences. We talked about ways to let out the build up of emotions that a lot of kids have and no outlet. I told her what I do and she took my suggestion and used it with some of her kids and then compared noted with a colleague. She had nothing but positive feedback for me later on. It made my year to know it helped others. So whether you love to knit, paint, workout, or play sports as long as you enjoy it and it's not illegal or bad for your health, do it. Channel your extra emotions and energy towards it.

@Storm38 thank you for your response. I, too, enjoy art. I will start painting again.
