How do I convince my GP to allow me to purchase cannabis legally?

I live in a state where cannabis can only be dispensed medically. I have been using edibles, about 2.5mg, 5mg when I'm feeling especially anxious, for the past two years now. EVERY TIME I feel better and my panic/anxiety becomes manageable. The medications I'm on don't help with my anxiety and my doctor says that I'm fine and just need therapy (which I've been doing for months now, to no avail). idk what to do. How do I convince my GP to allow me to purchase cannabis in my state legally??

      I know my state has a list of all the providers that can give a medical card. I just looked at that list, picked someone, and made an appointment! They might want one or two visits before they give a card, but in my experience it was pretty easy! I found that much easier than trying to convince a current provider who wasn’t receptive to the idea.

      Depending on your state, you can go online to buy your own medical card, they usually have their own doctors specialized to say if it's okay for you or not, but usually it's really easy to pass (I got mine for chronic joint pain) but it is kinda expensive at first but it's totally worth doing it on your own online than trying to convince your current care provider
