when you have a family member steal every penny that you had saved for Christmas and it sends you into an even darker depression, my mother in law allowed her stepson to stay with us when he got out of jail and he broke into my room and stole every penny that I had saved, she won't even do anything about it and now I can't even get my kids anything for Christmas, I was supposed to do my Christmas shopping tomorrow for my family and now I can't even afford to buy anyone a freakin candy bar, like I'm seriously tired of life at this point, there is no way I can replace that money before next weekend, and she had the nerve to tell my husband I need to get out of bed and do something even though she's in bed all day every day

@Kadair I had a cousin who was the same way, she lived with me for a while trying to get her life back on track or so I thought, she ended up stealing a few dollars here and there and got back on drugs so I had to kick her out also

I'm so sorry you have to experience this. I experienced something similar five years ago but it was my brother and mother who stole all my money. I had twins and had to get Christmas gifts for them. My family wouldn't help me out at all. I ended up taking out a loan to get my kids Christmas gifts and never was able to pay it back. I need to file bankruptcy now over all the money they stole from me. I stopped counting after I got to 40 thousands dollars. My family ended up destroying me to save themselves. Get away from those people asap. Those type of people can completely take you down for their own gain and they will.

@Weeping_Red my husband says we're moving asap after the holidays, we're not helping them at all anymore, they chose the thief over me and my kids so he said they'll just have to struggle because we're done helping out around here

šŸ˜„I am so sorry to hear that. Does hubby have money that he could buy the kids gifts? Your mil sounds like a real peice of work. Your doing the best you can . Many hugs. You do what you have too to keep your family safe and happy whatever more your mil has to say is not helpful and should let go in one ear and out the other that jerk should be sent back to jail he clearly learned nothing. Xox

@Brokenarrow22 my husband says he's gonna try and make sure I can buy them something for Christmas, we may have to skip a couple of bills next month and try to catch up later to do it, I just hate getting behind on bills because that seems like the one thing that's always the hardest to get back in front of

I'm so sorry this happened to you! I have been in a similar situation as you. My brother has stolen from me in the past and I confronted him. It was my medication he stole. He has stolen some money from me also but it wasn't but 5 bucks. He wanted beer and just went in my purse when I was asleep. Unfortunately, I have had to ask him to move out now, he is back on drugs and I won't allow it in my home. I wish I had better advice than that. Unless you file a report on him is about all you can do. You might not see the money ever again, I am sorry to say. Hopefully, he does give you back what he has stolen from you! I am praying he does!
