Been sick and out of work since 2019.... can't make moves like I used to and it is really wearing on my mentality. I just want to work and pay bills while contributing to society...but that's too much to ask I guess

Me as well.i wanna be able to be successful and have support like I've never had. I want to be able to enjoy life. And not have invasive thoughts, anxiety, depression and ptsd.

I am in the process of filing for disability too. It's been a year and a half, still haven't gotten it. I have an attorney , but it still seems like it's taking forever.

I understand how you feel , I'm not working since March of 2021 , it feels exactly the way you described it. I have bad arthritis in my knees and back, degenerative kind , and neuropathy in my right foot ankle and leg from a pinched nerve. I can't stand long without chronic pain.

Have you able to work an online/stay at home job? I'm sorry that you're out of work and I pray things will get much better for you.

I relate. Not working means I'm not interacting with people and I don't have a place I have to go. It sucks so bad. I don't feel like I can work. But I'm feeling worse not being able to.

I feel the same way. I am in the process of applying for Disability. I am unable to do anything that I have to use my hands or stand/sit too long. I work in offices. I can't type any longer without suffering. It is tough to not feel useless even though it is my body acting up not that I don't want to contribute to the household. Especially when you have bills that are coming in and only my husband is working.

@saksgirl02 I applied at the end of 2019 and still fighting via an attorney to get benefits. And although I appreciate his efforts I have mixed feelings about how much he will get paid when and if I'm approved. but I have learned it's harder without assistance to get approved. real bummer you know

I know the feeling. My PTSD, depression, anxiety, and social anxiety has affected my job I had last year. I wished I could get better so I can contribute.

@MisunderstoodWidow MAKES YOU WONDER IS THIS HOW THE REST OF MY LIFE WILL BE?!
