I can't explain how I feel, but when I go into this state, things don't feel real

@samtheant If you do decide that this state negatively affects you, physical therapies such as massage and yoga have been shown to be very good for dissociation. Mindfulness meditation is also very helpful.
I mean if you went to a doctor and told them "things don't feel real sometimes" they'd just say "you have dissociation/derealization/depersonalization". Doctors aren't magical beings with some magical power of diagnosis, they just go off what you tell them. Also, no matter what label you give it, that just obscures the real question, which is "does this negatively impact my life?" If yes then look for a way to treat it. If no then don't worry about it
Have you heard of dissociation?
@outpickingdandelions Yeah I've heard of that, I can't be sure it is that though. I don't like to self diagnose and I'm often told that I'm just acting a certain way for attention. But things just don't feel right?
