I absolutely hate leaving my comfort hole. But like i said, it can have benefits down the line, bc ultimately id rather leave my comfort zone a little with baby steps overtime leading to more then have a super unbalanced life with more dis regulation.

In reference to Marge. My immediate thought was why would I want to do that? šŸ˜… I only mention this to see if anyone else has the same reaction in not wanting to leave their realm of comfort

Also about kittychans advice- while the always busy mindset might not always be healthy , i do think something that is helpful for bpd is keeping up with your life not just your one relationship. Look into ways to have varied interests, multiple friendships, it will help you spread your attention and become a more balanced person and probably be more fulfilling

I definitely second finding a therapist or a dbt group. Heres a dbt workbook link https://adoeci.com/sites/default/files/grupos/dbt-skills-workbook.pdf for easy access

Honestly the only things that worked for me before I knew what I was struggling with was finding ways to feed my BPD that didn't affect other people. They were still pretty unhealthy but i was happy as long as it stayed internal. At least until I was able to start getting help

Find a therapist that specializes in DBT. Learn as much as you can about it. Find a support group online or locally. Surround yourself with help and support.

I wish I had better advice for you but keeping myself extremely busy with work and other obligations help me be less codependent on my partner
