I've already had my gallbladder removed back in 2017(I believe) and I can't hardly eat anything without me having to go to the bathroom like 5 to 15 mins later. it's been so bad sometimes where I get so nauseous and have cold sweats while on the toilet. my doctor doesn't seem to know what to do. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I have had to take Colestipol ever since having my gallbladder removed. It binds the bile and keeps me from running to the toilet all the time. Might be worth a try. Good luck!

I had my gallbladder out in 05 and I had the same after. Mine lasted for about 5 years until everything went back to normal. I went so far as to go back to the er thinking the surgeon left something inside me. It was supposed to be laproscopic but ended up with 6 lap holes and an 8 inch incision across the middle of my belly. Surgeon was an asshole. I was told I'd miss 10 days of work and missed 80 some. Couldn't do anything but lay flat on my back for what felt like ever. It was a nightmare experience for my first operation. My point is that it EVENTUALLY passed and got back to normal. Occasionally I will still break out in sweats while sitting on the toilet but that's the worst and it's few and far in between.

My doctor put me on an anti-spasm medication when I had infectious colitis (and still have wicked IBS but am not on the med anymore). It is called hyoscyamine (brand Levsin) and it worked miracles.
