Discombobulatedkat

864d

Hello, my name is Kat and I started having seizures when I was rushed to the ER with stroke symptoms. I was diagnosed with a Vertebral Artery Occlusion, and ever since I have had numerous seizures everyday, thankfully I don't collapse, but it really messes with my cognitive and physical function. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm sorry that you still go through it. Mine healed thankfully after a lot of blood thinners. The day it happened I had stroke symptoms, and my fiance took me to the ER. They found the occlusion with a blood clot forming(but I think it got stuck from the plaque in my arteries (from several years of high cholesterol from genetics) but they didn't feel the need to check since I'm 25 years old. At the hospital I had a seizure. After I left with a walker on my birthday, I started to have seizures. It's been since March, and I'm having these seizures multiple time a day. I can't even count and they are worsening. I don't pass out, but I have 3 types of seizures. I have photosensitivity seizures, altered awareness, and this one at night where my neck jerks involuntarily, and my whole body tenses up. Do you have seizures also?
