      If your diagnosis wasn't done via biopsy, then yes. If they want to pump you full of medications, then yes. The medications all have horrible side effects that are life threatening. Always get second opinions when it comes to accuracy and treatment.

      It depends. I didn’t, I had the chairman of Pulmonology at Ohio State and had absolute confidence in him. He called me with the diagnosis, spent 1/2 hour on the phone explaining, then mailed a packet of more info. If you don’t have confidence in your doctor, or he/she cannot answer your questions so you understand, then by all means, seek another opinion.
