I have had the shakes every day for one year since parathyroid surgery. Now they have found I have hypothyroidism but the shakes are being cause by hypoglycemia and low temperature hitting in the night. it is awful when I wake up. Have any of you had hypothermia or hypoglycemia stemmed from hypothyroidism. I'm so weak, shaky, and tired all the time. I take NP Thyroid.

I have this problem also, it's a brand new symptom for me though that has surfaced since I cut sugar and lost 150 lbs

What does your diet look like? Waking during the night like that is a classic sign of blood sugar disregulation. You may not be getting enough healthy fats or protein in your diet to keep your blood sugar stable.
