I don’t eat anything processed, and avoid some of my biggest triggers (gluten, dairy, sugar, dyes/chemicals/preservatives, corn, etc.) I found the MRT really helpful for identifying my triggers! I recommend looking for a dietician who does the MRT! It helped me start my journey to finding what foods I can and can’t have!

I just don't eat
I’m tired of this stuff about what to eat and not myself. That’s why I’m getting stem cell treatment soon and I’m trying not to worry about it but I watch what I can.
It gets to be overwhelming and confusing. Just when I'm finding foods that agree with me and I'm sure are good for me, I'll discover something unhealthy about them as well. Sounds cliched but I keep coming back to, Everything in moderation. Try to stick with healthy foods that work for you and don't eat too much of one thing. Go for as much variety as your restrictions allow.

@doppelgaenger In a way I agree, we have to eat and if everything of what's available poses a risk then moderately eat the lesser risks. I have been turning to homemaking a lot of what we eat to avoid egg and soy, and now baking soda. I've been converting recipes and making my own. I have been thinking of complying enough for a cookbook one day, but the issues seem so widespread that it would be great to inspire investors to tap into the market of egg/dairy/baking soda-free baked goods to go along side with the gluten free. I've experimenting with ammonium bicarbonate(big in Sweden) to replace baking soda, and it has nice results. For those of us with nickel sensitivities, I believe it's bi-product warning label may actually be beneficial in moderation in a proper diet with adequate hydration.
@TexAss Sounds like maybe you're onto something. If I had enough knowledge about which ingredients to replace with what & if I had the patience and skill to make healthier versions of store-bought items, I would. Maybe you should write that book.🤗

I relate. I can't have onions, gluten, broccoli, spinach, and now dairy is bothering me again. Very few things feel safe.
I am limited in what I can eat. And I feel like I barely eat anything. But I can't loose weight. I have heart conditions that prevent me from exercising so I eat nothing while gaining weight. I feel trapped.
@goldstar I understand. Hugs.
Certain allergens have alternative names in foods, like egg white is albumen, soy is tocopherols, lectin, acetate, monoglycerides, and magnesium, etc. If you're allergic to those and not checking labels with extreme scrutiny, you will still experience reactions.
Yep same. I have several symptoms that react and make the rest react so my tummy is never happy. I don't know what to do about it but to just make sure I have a mostly clean diet at least. I snack too much though.
@sabbymer I have the same problem! Aaah!
@joyjoytsak nuuuuu! It's so annoying
I have working with a nutritionist, and because my stomach and system has been so crazy this year, we are making me lists of "always safe", "sometimes safe" and "never safe" foods. These lists may change over the years, but we hope it will help me have a more varied diet and have a better relationship with food. It's so tempting to live off of my always safe cheese crackers!

I stopped mentally labeling “good” and “bad” food. If I’m hungry, I eat. If I’m thirsty, I drink. It’s hard, especially if the people around you are saying “oh, you don’t eat a lot/ you eat too much.” Or even trusting yourself to not over eat/ under eat. You know what you’re allergic to. Just don’t eat that. If you can eat it, and you’re hungry, eat. If you get half way through but you’re full, don’t force yourself to eat. “What if someone made the meal and it’s rude not to finish?” You can’t control what others will say. If you’re full, you’re full. Say thank you, and also thank them for being patient. But that you are full. That’s what works with me.

I binge eat. I've gone to therapy and group therapy for it. My stimulant I take every day for my narcolepsy is supposed to curve my appetite but it doesn't. I have at least cut out a lot of sugar. I need to work on my salt intake. Salt really makes me feel bad
Im a vegetarian and my naturopath doctor gave me a booklet and chart. He says certain foods shouldn't be combined with other foods. It's really difficult for me to follow...
@SweetAngel what's the name of booklet and chart? I'd like to see 👀
🙌 absolutely. I keep a food diary & sometimes my reactions aren’t consistent.
Prayers know how u feel
❤️same. So frustrating
