Struggling with the Loss of My Best Friend

have really been struggling, a couple weeks ago my best friend was hit by a train and died, she was the person I talked to every day and was the only person I felt like I could say anything to. the police believe it could have been on purpose so it makes me wonder if I could have done something about it so I kinda hate myself. Also I'm really struggling because she's gone and I will never see or talk to her again šŸ˜­

      Iā€™m so sorry. I lost my husband to SI and it was so much to process. Especially in the beginning. We are all responsible for our own mental health. And while it is a devastating adjustment, we have to accept that we arenā€™t capable of fixing anyone. We would have been supportive and helped find resources, but none of what they chose to do puts blame on us. Thatā€™s an unfair burden to place on ourselves. This is bigger than a friend or wife can resolve. I am sorry for your loss. Be gentle with yourself right now
