So when I'm starting to fall asleep I make this high-pitched mmph sound. Which sometimes wakes me up. It's involuntary and I can't control if I do it or not. Does anyone else do this? I already got tested for sleep apnea and I don't have it.

Try the deep breathing exercise before you go to sleep and even if you wake up. You breathe in deeply for seven seconds, you hold it for five and then you blow out slowly for eight or nine. Really helps to calm down

Not exactly but i get hypnic jerks almost every time I first start falling asleep. Sometimes they dump me into panic attacks too which is fun.
