Confession: My Struggle with Attention Seeking

confession: no matter where I am... I secretly like to be the center of attention from strangers or people that don't know me too well. I crave male attention and seek approval from women and if I don't receive what I expect, I begin to worry obsessively. this disorder has interfered in my romantic relationships making it hard for me to understand the difference between being flattered or from being in love. I will say that after receiving this diagnosis, I am able to catch myself feeling or thinking certain ways and can shift my attention elsewhere. (it's hard but practice!)
