I'm going to college! I got accepted into an amazing school, and I'm so thrilled cause I totally thought I just missed out on that part of my life (I'm 23) and I want to know-- with my chronic pain, moving out of state, ect. what should I prepare for?

I’m 23 and I finished college a couple years ago! Message me any time for advice or to chat! But my biggest piece of advice is to have your pain management system handy. For me, that’s my TENS unit, a couple boxes of lidocaine aspercreme patches, roll-on pain gel, aleve and excedrin, heat pad, ice packs, and a peanut (a lacrosse ball? thing?) for rolling out my back between my shoulder blades.

Have you gotten cleared by your dr to Travle ?? I have to get cleared by my dr , see if the school has accessibility and would understand your needs If your living alone get something that isn’t 2 story Try to do things more slowly and gradually work your way up to bigger things , dont push yourself to keep up with others no that your worth it no matter what , meet people with similar experience and same interest, people can be rude so no that they are not what’s important to your life do things at your own pace Don’t try to do to many things at once try to handle a few things at a time like balancing school and work don’t hang out with people that you feel are not good fit for you Just remember this is new and it’s ok that your not like others your beautiful in your own way and you will be fine as long as you keep track of spoons and take each day at a time
