Hello I'm Kaichi better known as Kai but the generator on this app didn't let me put Kai. Anyways I'm a little new to this Alikes app, I've heard about it and wanted to give it a try. it says to ask questions so my question is: What do you expect to gain out of this app?

      Advice and in most cases comfort? I don't want to feel pityied but I like knowing I'm not alone in a situation, welcome to alike :) I'm new too <3 also Kaichi is a cool name!! Mine is Kattprus

      Hi Kai! Welcome. Alike is a great place to talk to others experiencing the same as you. Here is a great place to ask questions or get suggestions on what has worked for others, like meds, homeopathic, physical & mental therapies, etc. I know I've used this space to vent, recommended ideas, looked for things I want to try but wanted a consensus on if the idea was even worth it. (Hope that made sense! 😁) Alike is very unique in that I haven't really witnessed any demeaning behavior, bullying, or pitying. I hope you get out of it what I have. ❤️

        @Valkar Thank you I appreciate that and plus I can relate to being pitied it just seems like that's what people will do instead of caring what we feel or what comfort we need. Thank you for sharing.

      I am hoping to talk to other people that are going through the same thing I am and hopefully get some insight on how to handle my emotions better

        @Jess3 Same here. Sometimes it's hard to talk to people because in my opinion people tend to look down on us and just take pity when that's not what we need.
