Sobriety Struggles: Battling Demons and Building Constructs

almost a year sober from alcohol and having a tough time keeping the demons at bay. after 20 years of suppressing my anxious brain with impairment basic interactions have been not easy. especially with work and relationships. I call part of it a dependency mechanism and it pushes people away. I build constructs in my head that range anywhere from dying alone to never finding happiness despite me feeling better than I ever have physically.
