I'm not sure if there is a reason or if my mental health is just really off lately but I keep feeling stressed and depressed. I feel like I'm having no purpose and I'm definitely no where even close to where I wanted to be at the age of 35. I'm not suicidal just really feeling hopeless and nothingness lately. I have a therapist and I'm on meds for various things. I try to doing things I enjoy, spending time with those I care about especially my daughter, and try just relaxing and zoning out with a good movie or book. Anyone else have these phases? Any tips?

Finding purpose can sometimes be a process, especially in our 30’s (I’m almost 45), you can find that you have a shift in values and goals and maybe success isn’t exactly what you were thinking but sometimes success is invisible until it’s actualized. So ask yourself questions like, what makes ‘me’ happy? What do I want more of and less of in life… These type of questions open up the invitation to your current purpose. Hope that is helpful, I’ll look for a couple book suggestions and post back soon. Namaste
