I read that migraneurs suffer from electrolyte imbalance. Angela Stanton recommends putting salt under your tongue at the first sign. If that doesn’t work, it means you need potassium, which does not absorb well in pill form. I use avocados. Not 100% cure, but it has helped me a few times. She has videos on YouTube.

If sound levels due to kids are an issue i would recommend looking into silicone noise cancelling earbuds/earplugs. My roomie has sensitive ears and having a pair made it possible for her to actually enjoy going to concerts and to work in noisy environments.

I got a medication from my neurologist, called “Quilipta” to prevent the migraine and others to relieve the headache pain. I was looking for ideas of what to do when having a migraine, Thanks 🙏

I wet a washcloth or grab an ice pack and put it on my forehead. It works wonders

My doctor gave a sample of new migraine medication called NurTec. It takes one hour to start noticing the difference

If I can't relax in a dark room, you'll find me with my icepack hat, another around my neck, sunglasses, and a pair of foam earplugs doing laundry or whatever some days.
