so I currently take Wellbutrin for depression & it made me have anxiety to the point I could barely ride in a car & I noticed some other changes but that was one constant. Yesterday my provider added Zoloft into the mix to combat the anxiety... Has anyone else had this mixture? Did it work for you? I am not a fan of taking meds & adding more to my daily regimen is not helping my depression. ugh fml. thanks in advance.

My therapist suggested I add wellbutrin to my current zoloft regimen after I had thoughts this week. I have an appointment tomorrow with my primary doctor to discuss it, but I'm pushing for hormone testing...hormones can cause/worsen depression, and also cause some other ailments that I deal with. Never stop researching, connecting the dots, and consulting with doctors and others with your condition(s)! Best of luck to you! 🥰

Zoloft has personally been very helpful. But I have and have had more depression problems than anxiety problems in my life. Some say that medications help one but make the other worse. But be careful and if you change dosages let your doctor know. Medicines were created to help you and if you trust your doctor and take strictly as directed you are certainly unlikely to have side effects! As someone who is both an apothecary and plant medicine lover but has also only survived cancer because of Western medicine, take advantage of "pill form aspirin" but realize that medical science doesn't have all the answers

Ugh my memory is total 💩 and I'm worried these meds aren't going to help with that either

@HippieGarbage they didn't help my memory, your experience may be different. I got blood drawn for some tests yesterday to check my thyroid as I've heard that can affect memory. I also try to write down important things because I don't remember much otherwise.

Wellbutrin didn't work for me. I currently take Zoloft and Seroquel. It's been a while, so my memory of the details is hazy, but I tried several different medications before settling in on what I currently take.

I too started taking Wellbutrin and within a while, started having anxiety. Not as extreme as what you describe, but I was given Prozac for it

I used to take both of those medications, though not at the same time. My psychiatrist had me do genetic testing to be able to understand what psych medications might work best for me. It lists them out and tells you which ones are best for you. It might help if you did this.
