How would I know if I cannot take edibles? I tried gummies for the first time (indica 10mg) and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I had an intense migraine, I felt "static-y," I could feel it in my head and different lobes of my brain whenever I tried to focus on different parts of my body. It was pain to even open my eyes. I don't understand since I have epilepsy and it helps for most people. I understand indica is a body high, was this due to the narcolepsy?

Everyone is different @10mg you're going to feel something. Don't take 10mg to start. Take 2.5 and titrate as needed. Also if you have narcolepsy you're well on your way to a great nap. Indica makes you sleepy. Try a sativa and also a hybrid. Experiment and see what's good for you. Also if you are having effects try using a CBD. Those tend to be less harsh on the mind.

@SecondChance thank you! 10mg was their lowest mg so that's what I did, so I'll look somewhere else.

@strugglebus cut the edible into quarters and step down to half or a ¼.

Everyone reacts differently to weed and edibles. If you had an unpleasant experience with intense migraine and discomfort, it might not be suitable for you. It's important to consult a medical professional before using cannabis products, especially if you have epilepsy or other medical conditions.
