I've had a lump the size and shape of a grape in my breast since 2016 with sharp, shooting pain a couple times a day which over the years has really worn on my nerves. It's started to mess with my ability to face each day or leave the house without having a major panic. I don't have insurance or the finances to get it checked out. I find myself worrying when the pain gets worse but then calming back down on good days. Should I be worried more or just be okay with it? I wish there was some way for women to have access to free healthcare without worrying about money or the opinions about others. I just don't know what I can do. Are there any red flag symptoms that I should look out for that means I'm in danger? Not that there's anything I can do about it. I just feel so discouraged.

      If you live in Texas check out the "Texas Healthy Women" program. It's preventative and it's free...

          @Ms.Wickstrom Have you tried reaching out to women's health organizations like planned parenthood? They give low cost/no cost appointments for such things. The fact you said it hasn't grown is somewhat good however Brest exams should be done 1x a year by a medical professional and it really is something to get checked.

          @Ms.Wickstrom so I’m guessing Medicaid/Medicare doesn’t work?
