I am a 21 and a Junior in college. I have been struggling with panic attacks since I was 12 or 13. Since I was 16 or so, they have occasionally manifested themselves as sensory overload. Now that I have finally started to find ways to combat that, a new type of panic attack started happening: tactile sensitivity. Can anybody give me any tips on how to cope with tactile sensitivity?

Panic Disorder

Sometimes when I have a panic attack I kind of revert back to a childlike state and I don't want people to touch me and I can barely get any words out of my mouth. What I like to do when that starts to happen I'll go into a quiet place, like my room, and just focus on my breathing until I calm down.
