I have Been Diagnosed With D.I.D And It's Hard My Therapist Told Me That My Alters Haven't Come Out Because I'm Not Working With Them And I'm Not Sure What That Means I Am Trying Really Hard to Accept The Fact That I Have D.I.D Any Advice Or Pointers ?

Im in the exact same boat. This is normal, dont worry! The whole point of did is so the alters (specifically the host) can survive day to day life without remembering/being aware of your trauma. Nothing is wrong with you, you arent doing anything wrong, and there's nothing you really *can* do to speed it up/force it to happen.

I’m kind of in the same boat as u. I guess just keep working with your therapist and try to have patience. I’m my experience part of what makes it hard is that the alters are trying to protect us so they don’t want to be threatened. They’re hiding to protect the system from being discovered and disrupted. My therapist says “they don’t trust us yet”. I guess all of us like being in control, and we need to learn to let go of some of that in order to communicate.
