Having an extremely hard day today. 3mo. old wont stop fussing after shots yesterday. Dad has to sleep and recover from a hard week at work. But ive been overstimulated for a week now and i broke down in front of everyone yesterday and shut down crossed legged and pluging my ears on the couch. Even now chronic pain wont go away because i cant stop moving or caring for my baby. I feel like im failing and everyone who has offered help cant help when i need them most. I just need it all to stop. just for an hour or maybe two if i can get lucky. just enough to make the pounding in my head go away. just enough to eat something for the day. just long enough for me to be somewhat okay again

Postpartum Depression (PPD)

Hi, first of all, I will say that I understand you very well. Babies are hard, they are not independent at all and depend on us for every little thing. You can't "take a break" from them, not even for a moment. Have you thought about trying to find a nanny who will help you for at least part of the day so that you can rest and recover? In addition, postpartum depression is not a simple problem, I would suggest you also go and get treatment, it helped me a lot.
