Any tips on how to handle severe chronic pain? I have been getting to the point I can't even stand up to get a drink of water everything hurts so bad. I feel like I dont have anyone to talk to about the constant burden of the pain because no one understands. I use a mobility aid and am still in constant pain.

I sm0ke ouid personally but not everyone likes it or can. I get random joint pain sometimes and sprains easily which can hurt obviously, but I also get nausea from my dysautonomia. It can raise heart rate initially though so that may be an issue if you’re already tachycardic. I recommend cbd though as well which won’t make your heart race or get you high but can be relaxing and help w pain and inflammation. I’m sorry I don’t have more answers these just help me personally

Are you seeing a pain specialist for your pain? There are lots of options for treating chronic pain? If you don’t want to or are unable to take pain medication? There’s always meditation and yoga. Believe it or not it actually works! There’s also the natural options like edibles or THC oils from a dispensary as well? Exercise is always a better option for building up your strength and resistance to the pain? Or all of the above! Hang in there love! 😘😘😘 💕 ❤️

I agree with the mobility aids comment. Using a walker of wheelchair on bad days can be helpful. One thing I've found helpful that you could also try is KT tape. Yesterday, I could hardly walk, but when I taped the joints, it helped me feel more stabilized, which did end up helping with the pain over time. You can also ask your doctor about pain medication. I destroyed my stomache with OTC pain meds, so be careful to only take the listed dose and not every day for long periods. These suggestions don't fix it, but they do take the edge off. Using a combination of small things like your topical pain management, taping/bracing, and NSAID as needed could be helpful.

Are you seen by a pain clinic or been in any pain management courses?

When my pain is at its worst, no matter what I do it doesn't go away either. The things that have helped take the edge off a little have been salonpas patches (they distract me a little), hot water bottles, sometimes baths (although when you're hurting so much its difficult to get in and out), cbd patches (I find they help my meds work a bit better). I have a long list of different patches, creams and gels that I use and would recommend, I'll send you a list if you're interested. Also if you ever want to talk or rant or anything like that, you can message me on here :)
