I'm losing it, I swear. I'm currently seeking a diagnosis for some physical/neurological issues Ive been having that recently had a massive flare. my best guess is MS or something similar, there's only one or two ms symptoms I don't get. these problems have caused severe pain and have made me unable to work recently not only because of pain, but also because I'm mostly numb. I can't properly feel anything, I can't tell where my feet are half the time, I'm struggling to walk, my vision is blurry and difficult to focus. I've already been to the e.r. and the literal only test they did was a lumbar CT and they ended up giving me muscle relaxers and corticosteroids. They just told me to follow up with a Neuro and discharged me. they discharged me two weeks ago and I still can't walk right. I don't have insurance and can't get into a neurologist, I can't work, the e.r. didn't help me... I just don't know what to do anymore.

Any luck with a diagnosis? Just checking back in. 🙂

Go back to ER and tell them symptoms are worse. My Ms diagnosis started with a lumbar MRI and a sciatica diagnosis before they started looking up the spine. You want them to look at the thoracic and cervical spine and your brain, if you think it's MS. Don't wait just go back into ER and demand it if you can't get in to see a neurologist.

I feel for you. I take it you are in the US? I am in the UK and I have a lot of symptoms and been off work for a year. Infact I have just lost my job in the NHS because I can't do it. I have been waiting since July last year for an appointment with Neuro and my appointment isn't until November this year. It is tough times.

@sunnyontheoutside unfortunately yes, I'm in the US... I tried even getting into a teaching hospital since they have financial aid usually and even they "can't" help me... I'm just so worried, you can't qualify for disability without a diagnosis, but I can't get into a doctor without money, and I can't work to make the money to see the doctor. It's just a helpless cycle... I can't even imagine waiting for an appointment that long, I'm so sorry. I wish things were easier when it came to healthcare, it feels like you just can't win these days.

@SilasCorvus well I feel lucky in comparison to you as at least our healthcare is free even if quite broken at the moment. Do you have family?
