I just got diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis due to an ultrasound. I have no history of either RA or PsA in my family so my doctor hasn't really directly diagnosed me with either yet (the diagnostic tag is because he thinks it's 65% more likely to be RA). As soon as he saw my ultrasound he ordered blood tests. I'm about to take prednisone for a month while also taking methotrexate. If you've taken methotrexate, has it helped you feel any better while on it, or does it just help remission? I'm worried about side effects and just feeling awful while taking it.
