does anyone know of any did support groups?? there's none in my area, and it's been really hard coping lately. i don't even know how to begin explaining to my loved ones what im experiencing, i feel so alone navigating this at times.
Hi, the support group has done only good for me. No matter how much I tried to explain to my family or friends what I was going through, they were nowhere near understanding, and certainly not as supportive as the group. I suggest that if you don't have such a group, it might even be worth joining a more distant group or finding a group that meets on zoom, and that way you can also take part in it.
do you have any recommendations for any sites/forums that would be a good place to look for groups! I looked on psychologytoday since my city has zero support groups, but the registration was closed on the ones I found:(
