I used to take Cymbalta. I thought it worked at first, but after 3 months I started to have a lot of issues that I didn't notice or flat out just didn't think was due to the medication. I started having very bad highs and lows, manic episodes, and just overall dangerous, impulsive behavior. I didn't even know what a manic episode was or realized I was having them until later. I kept asking for a dosage raise thinking it was just losing its effectiveness. It ruined my life a yr and a half later. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.? Or something like it?

It still works for me but I dread trying to get off of it. I get brain zaps, confusion, disoriented, and can't think straight if I miss even 1 day.

I moved onto Cymbalta when my previous medication stopped working for me after several years of taking it. I’ve had to increase my dose of Cymbalta at least once since. I still have depression sure but I think if I cold turkey’d it I would be so much worse. Not sure if there’s something else I should be taking?

Hi! I’m on 90mg for nerve pain and depression and while it may help nerve pain I’m very depressed. Trying to get off of it and it’s a bitch
I also had trouble remembering things I said or did a lot. And ended up doing things that I personally or morally would not do.
